In an effort to improve public relations, the marketing department of defense contractor and military supplier Raytheon has created a new campaign to soften the blow in areas surrounding where their highly precise missiles strike. In a statement, Raytheon spokesperson said "We call it 'Have A Blast, Had A Blast'." "We realize our products may affect more than the evil targets that our precise missiles remove. In some cases, those targets may be inside buildings or areas that are utilized by local civilian populations, but our hands are tied and we have little choice but to strike. We wish to help those people that may be affected by delivering commemorative apparel, in air drops before, during and after our strikes. We pledge to deliver, via air drop, 'Have a Blast' paraphernalia prior to or during ALL strikes, and 'Had A Blast' themed material afterwards." "We believe in levity to help those affected, and by delivering these fun items we are sure that not only will the people accept that the strikes were necessary, but even remember them fondly." Not all are happy with the program so far though. "We've been watching bombs drop for weeks. Every time I hear the sirens, I get a little excited and look for my t-shirt, but so far not a damn one. After they took out the hospital, I was a little perturbed, especially with nothing to show for it. Now they have leveled my son’s school and still nothing. I'm calling customer service because something does not seem right" said one local dad.
